Singer Oliver Tree’s last social media post has taken on a heartbreaking meaning after his sudden death in Brazil.

Just one day before the tragedy, the Life Goes On artist shared an Instagram Reel from his first trip to the country. In the clip, Tree teamed up with Brazilian influencer Iae Break for a joyful day of soccer, bike riding, haircuts, cooking, and laughter.

The caption read: “Gringo 24 horas no Brasil,” meaning “Foreigner for 24 hours in Brazil.”

Tree’s song Worth Nothing played in the background as the two moved through the day, making the video feel even more emotional to fans now. The clip has since gained millions of views, with comments flooded by tributes and condolences.

Tree, born Oliver Tree Nickell, was reportedly killed Sunday in a helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro. He was 32.

Authorities said two helicopters collided mid-air, leaving six people dead, including Tree, Argentinian YouTuber Gaspar Prim, Lucas Vignale, Lucas Brito Chaves, and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac.

Police have requested a forensic investigation, and the case remains ongoing.

Tree had been in South America as part of his world tour. He performed in São Paulo on June 6 and was expected to continue with a show in Lisbon on July 13.

What began as a fun travel video has now become the final memory he shared with the world.
