My wife has been dèåd for 5 years now, but two nights ago, I saw her in a dustbin dancing with a vlbrator under her sklrt, while on my way back from work.

At first, I thought it was a dog searching for food. If anyone had told me it was the woman I had married seven years ago, I wouldn’t have believed, maybe I’d have asked the person to shut the hell up. Just maybe.

I closed very late from work that Tuesday evening, and by the time I was driving home, it was already getting dark. And my house was about 40 minutes away from my office.

I felt my head spinning as I turned the steering, diverting the car into the major road that led to my house. My eyes were heavy; I always felt that way whenever I had overworked myself in that goddam firm of mine.

Before I knew it, I got stuck in traffic, many cars were at my front, and when I checked through the side mirror, more were behind.

I had to slow down a bit.

But just when my leg was about to step on the BRAKE, my eyes caught something.

It was the big dustbin on my left.

Under the weak roadlights, I saw a woman swaying her body slowly, as if she was dancing to music only she could hear. Her clothes were dirty, and her hair was scattered, and one hand was hidden beneath her sklrt.

I began to look closely.

Suddenly, she brought out her hand.

Lo and behold, it was a vlbrator . But that wasn’t all.

The real shock came when she raised her head, letting the road lights flash at her.

“Jesus!” My lips parted, my eyes almost bulging out.

That was Miriam, my wife.

The same woman who disappeared from my house five years ago after a heated argument; the same woman whom I thought had dled; the same woman… Oh my goodness!

My heart was racing uncontrollably.

At that moment, I flashed back to how everything started.

It all happened five years ago, that was two years after we got married.

Miriam was always complaining that I didn’t give her enough attention, that all I cared about was work work work. She said I was ignoring and neglecting her feelings.

That wasn’t all.

One night, she started again, but this time, she said something totally different.

“I am s£x starved, Michael… I’m tired of hiding it… I’m tired of hiding the fact that you don’t always satisfy me in bed… I’m tired of this marriage…” She screamed out.

I couldn’t say a word.

Hearing those words shattered my heart into pieces. They got me overwhelmed.

I hurriedly picked up my car keys and stormed out of the house to clear my head.

By the time I returned the next morning, the house was empty.

Miriam was nowhere to be found.

That day passed, and I didn’t see her.

The second day came, third day, fourth, one week, two weeks, but she never returned home.

Her lines weren’t going through. I searched everywhere but all to no avail.

I was deeply hurt, heavily depressed and sad. It was during this time I concluded she had dled.

Day after day, I began to slowly accept the reality that my wife was truly gone. Until two nights ago.

The moment I realised it was Miriam, my wife, I quickly drove to the corner of the road and parked my car.

But by the time I alighted the car, she had vanished; nowhere to be found.

My chest tightened in confusion.

As I turned around to look everywhere, so many thoughts were running through my head. But as I battled with them, I felt someone grab my waist from behind.

Instantly, my heart jumped out of my body.
