Advertise with DailyTin24
Our principles for sponsorship and advertising, and how to start a conversation with us.
Programmes still being set up
DailyTin24 is in its launch edition, and our advertising and sponsorship programmes are still being set up. We do not yet have a rate card, a self-serve booking system or published audience figures. If you are interested in working with us, we are happy to talk early, and we will share more detail as our options take shape.
Our principles
Readers come to DailyTin24 for calm, trustworthy news. Any advertising we carry has to respect that. These principles are not negotiable:
- Clearly labelled sponsorship: sponsored content, segments and newsletter placements will always carry an unmistakable Sponsored label and be visually distinct from editorial content.
- No native ads disguised as news: we will not publish paid material designed to look like an independent news story, and our journalists will not write it.
- No tracking-heavy ads: we will not run ad formats that rely on invasive tracking, cross-site profiling or large third-party scripts that slow down the page.
- Editorial independence: sponsors have no influence over what we cover or how. Buying a placement never buys a story.
- A good fit: we may decline advertising that is misleading, harmful or at odds with our constructive mission.
What we expect to offer
As our programmes develop, we expect to focus on simple, respectful formats that work well for readers and partners alike.
- A single clearly marked sponsor slot in the Morning Coffee Tin daily brief, once email delivery launches.
- Section sponsorships, where an organisation supports a desk such as Science or City Living, with a short acknowledgement and no editorial input.
- Sponsorship of DailyTin Radio 24, our planned audio programme, which is coming soon.
These are plans rather than products available today, and they may change based on what we learn during the launch edition.
