About this draft

This Privacy Policy is a draft pending legal review. It describes how DailyTin24 works today, during our launch edition, in plain language. We will update it as the site changes and after review, and we will note the date of any significant revision on this page.

What we do not collect

DailyTin24 is a static website. That means pages are delivered as ready-made files rather than generated for each visitor by our own servers.

• There are no user accounts and no logins.
• We do not run advertising trackers or cross-site tracking pixels.
• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Information stored in your browser

Some features use your browser's local storage, which keeps small pieces of information on your own device. This information is not sent to us.

• Saved stories: articles you choose to save for later.
• Theme: whether you prefer the light or dark appearance.
• Newsletter intent: if you enter an email address in a brief sign-up form, it is saved locally to remember your interest, because email delivery has not launched yet.

You can remove this information at any time by clearing your browser's site data for DailyTin24.

Third-party services

To display the site, your browser loads some resources from third parties. These include fonts from Google Fonts and styling from the Tailwind CSS content delivery network. Images may also be served from third-party hosts. When your browser requests these files, those providers can see technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, and they handle it under their own privacy policies. We do not control this processing, and we try to keep the number of third parties to a minimum.

Links to other websites are governed by those websites' own policies.

Emails you send us

If you write to any DailyTin24 address, such as hello@, tips@ or corrections@, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments. We use this only to read and respond to your message, handle your request or, if you asked, tell you when the Morning Coffee Tin launches. We do not add you to marketing lists without your agreement. We keep messages only as long as needed for these purposes, and you can ask us to delete them.
