Live Tin Broadcast

DailyTin Radio 24 and The 8:00 AM World Sync are coming soon. Here is what we are planning.

Coming soon: DailyTin Radio 24

We are building an audio companion to DailyTin24 called DailyTin Radio 24. It is not live yet. There is currently no live stream, no podcast feed and no archive of episodes to play. If you see a player or a Live Tin Broadcast badge on the site, it is a preview of the design rather than a working broadcast.

We would rather tell you that plainly than promise something we cannot deliver yet. The plans below describe what we intend to launch, and details may change as we test the format.

The 8:00 AM World Sync

The flagship programme will be a daily morning show called The 8:00 AM World Sync, hosted by Alex Rivera, one of our launch-edition profiles. The idea is to give you a calm, well-organised start to the day in about fifteen minutes.

  • The headlines, briefly: the handful of developments worth knowing about, explained without alarm.
  • One story in depth: a longer look at a single topic, often with a desk editor joining the host.
  • What is working: a constructive segment on a project, idea or community response that shows measurable progress.
  • The day ahead: scheduled events, releases and moments to watch.

How it will sound

We want the show to feel like a friendly, informed conversation rather than a stream of alerts. That means no breaking-news sirens, no shouting and no padding. Each segment will be clearly introduced so you can skip to what interests you. Stories discussed on air will follow the same standards and labels as stories on the site, and corrections will be noted in the episode description.

Beyond the morning show, we are exploring short desk updates through the day, but we will only add them if we can keep the quality high.

How to hear when it launches

The easiest way to stay informed is to sign up for the Morning Coffee Tin, our daily brief. When DailyTin Radio 24 goes on air, we will announce it there first. Please note that email delivery for the brief is itself launching soon; until then, you can also write to [email protected] with the subject line Brief and we will let you know.

Tell us what you want to hear

Would you listen on a commute, at breakfast or while working? Which topics should get the in-depth slot? Send your ideas to [email protected]. We are shaping the show now, and early feedback genuinely helps.
